    Hi,

    Am not to sure if this is in the right location, but here goes. I require certain information to do with cnc/cam. I wonder if you kind people could help a learner. Or have links for the information i require.

    Post Process

    So you need to know all about the methods and measuring equipment used in a production factory with an above average budget. I think you can come up with a lot of answers, using an internet facility called "Google".

    The measurement features you are asking about do not usually require CAM or CAD software. They are done using macros. You must have the proper equipment like probes or laser measuring devices. Macros control the motion of the machine and perform the calculations along with data I/O. Any of the companies like Renashaw or Marposs can help with the process. Much of what you require may be user specific, meaning you will have to do some programming and development yourself. If you have more specific questions please post.
