    Dowels and Part Flipping

    Hey yall!

I am having some trouble with flipping my parts and getting everything registered exactly right. I have a CAMaster Stinger I. I understand how the process is done in theory, but in practice something must be going wrong. Certain parts of the piece line up exactly, and others are off by up to .05. I checked my diagonals and they are under 1/64th off over 40+ inches.. It seems that the amount of error I'm having is more than can be explained by my XY not being square. I trammed the router and it is very close to being square as well.

The only causes that I can think of are that I am losing steps or that during tool change I am getting the machine out of line.

Any help is very much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Justin

Any error in location or out of square will be doubled when you flip it. There isn't really a trick to it.

I'd recommend getting things lined up better and giving it another go
