Looking at purchasing a 5 axis Mikron, does anyone have any experience with them? If so, have you had any service issues? Any machine issues? Control issues?

We have had one for about 4 years and it only ran about 2 years. It breaks all the time.

Have a UCP1150, and a brand new HPM1150U.
They are very reliable, and superbly accurate.
But, each to their own and all that, some shops do have bad experiences with some machines, and others do not.
Rate them MUCH more highly that a HAAS, that we also have 10 of.>>>>>>>>>> Made In England <<<<<<<<<<

Charmilles/Mikron are awesome machines...I've never ran one, but have seen plenty of them in action. Their 5 axis machines find themselves in medical and die-mold quite often. Makinos are another very very fine choice.
