Hello everyone,

I am using an AXYZ 4008 with atc and Rhinocam 2012.
The problem I am having is this:
Sometimes an nc file can be sent to the router with multiple engraved lines and curves and it will work flawlessly.
Other times, like the next day, the same file will still work but the feed rate of the lines slows from 2 inches per second to about 1 inch in 2 minutes.
Sometimes the curves will be fast and the lines slow even though they are set at the same feed rate.
Any suggestions ?

I hope somebody has an answer as I suffer a similar situation when using 3D finishing toolpaths with an AXYZ 6010 and Rhinocam.I strongly suspect the machine controller is the root of the problem as the .nc file has the feed rates specified.Do you have any idea of the age of the machine?I am limited to 8 character file names on a 2005 machine.Microsoft moved on from 8 character file names with Windows 95,I don't know when or if AXYZ did.

Hey routalot,
I solved my own problem.
Seems the dnc software may have been corrupt (I reloaded it). Also, I upgraded to rhinocam 2014.
Together they seem to have fixed the problem.
