    Multi-motors

I'm a student and my lecturer has asked me to do a project on multi-motor control in a hard disk drive. But in the first place, I don't even know what is a multi-motor or what is multi-motor control. Can anyone enlighten me about this? Or am I in the wrong forum topic? :boxing:

Well, I would assume that you must do a project that uses multiple motors?? you may want to ask you lecturer to be certain. I do not know how you would use multiple motors in a disk drive since a disk drive only serves one function.
If it doesn't work BUY BIGGER MOTORS!!

On a CD drive you have 3 motors.
    1- spins disk
    2- moves head
3- moves disk tray in and out
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.
