I need to know which gecko drives to use for these stepper motors.

Also what do i need to power these drives? i read the gecko manual and it says anything from 24v to 80v. Well which would work best for me? Is there any place to buy ready made power supplies?

According to my old Superior Electric documentation, both of the steppers are 6 wire, with the MO62 having a double-ended shaft.

A Gecko 201 will do the job. The motor curves suggest that for the best performance that a voltage around 36 Volts DC be used.

The best source for a power source would be to check out the power supplies on e-bay and see if you can find one in the voltage range of 28 volts to 36 volts DC with a current rating of around 10 Amps DC. Otherwise, you can visit some of the sites advertised here on CNCZone.

Well my uncle is a electrician. He told me if i knew what volt and amp i need he could get it for me. I just need to knew the optimin voltage. I hooked the drives ups up to a hobbycnc board. Hooked 2 computer psu's up to it. And tried it but they had no power at all.

Your PM mailbox is full, btw. The best voltage for those would probably be 36V-48V, but it depends how you wire them.

So i need 36v for each Driver. so i need to buy three 36volt power units? what amp do these units need to be.

If they are 6 wire motors, it depends how you wire them, but 1 36V 15amp supply should be fine for all three.
