hello this is not a major alarm

just reset overload relay if the servo amplifier

switch off from the main before reseting the thermal relay

The fans start to run on the drive but turn off when the alarm occurs. Which is about 5 seconds after the control boots up.

All limit switches are operating perfect.

I am unable to find the reset on the drive. Can you clue me in as to where it might be?

    THANKS !!!

Plenty of shooting in the dark, I see.
What Fanuc control model (Fanuc series 0M, 6M etc.) on your machine. Depending on what type of Fanuc control you have troubleshooting and check items are completely different.

What is the part number on your servo drives?
Do you have any alarm Leds on the servo drive?
Check on servo drive terminal strip between 3 and 4 for 100 Volts AC

Unable to determine voltage because it drops out before my meter can read a voltage. It was waiting about 5 seconds but now it drops out in less than a second. The drive's are Ao2B-0007 0360 / 03A

I hear a relay pull in when I press reset but in just a sec or two, it kicks back out. I had 100V on pins 3 & 4 untill it drops back out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 100v is usually fed from the main control transformer and is often picked up by a control relay (probabally the one you hear) which can be switched with anything from an external PLC or e-stop circuit etc, You need the machine control prints to find out what energises the relay.

Apart from someone who is selling like http://www.mantamachinery.com/machinin/4200.htm and plead with them to make a copy of the manual if they have.
or www.machinerybrochures.com may be your best bet.
If you show all axis in OT it may be because you do not have the 5v/24v DC supply up and running.
But that also could be due to no 100vac supply on.
You really need the machine prints to do any informed diagnosis.
Is the red or green light on the input unit? This is the small unit usually mounted next to the large 5/24dc power supply.

Would you believe it was a fuse that HAD to be removed to be checked? Showed perfect cont. while in the machine it read less than an ohm. Learned a gret deal there.. THANKS for all of the reply's !!!!

Don't feel bad, That is a common mistake, if the fuse is fed from a low impedance source like a Txfmr secondary and it is connected to a low impedance load, the whole circuit is effectively in parallel with the fuse
