I am not having any luck connecting my 8025TG controller to a PC using WinDNC. I have tried lots of different configurations on the PC and controller searched for answers on the web and still am not having any luck - Spent way to much time on it but I really want to back up the programs on this old control so I am not starting from scratch if it dies.

I am almost positive my cable is correct- I am looking for a step by step (preferably from someone who has this control and windnc working) to get this control to work with WinDNC so I can be sure I did not miss something simple.

The control is on a upgrade technologies GT27 and I am able to communicate with my Fadal on the same computer flawlessly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just use command prompt to send files to my gt27 / 8025. have you tried that? I can give you the specs. connecting to the 8025 was / is tricky.

I got it to work by changing the 605 parameter to 10111000. Hope this helps someone else.

What was 605 set to before?
