    Some of the settings in the post you linked to I cannot see. The panel just skips over them. An example is it shows me A044 then skips to A085 so I can't see A082 to change it. Is there something I need to set to access these?

    Try this, is your drive 220V or 380V???

    PD001=0
    PD002=0
    PD003=300
    PD004=300
    PD005=300
    PD008=220
    PD011=120
    PD014=12= Ramp up time
    PD015=12= Ramp down time
    PD141=220
    PD142=motor max amp=??
    PD143=2 or Number of Poles motor has??
    PD144= Max RPM= 23000?? or what ever your max RPM is

    This should have your VFD running from the VFD operator control panel

    PD072= 300 is most likely not need unless you are controlling it remotely, but won't affect anything if it is set

    Thank you mactec54. I will give that a try tomorrow afternoon. I really do hope to get it working. I did get the spindle to run with the Hitachi wj200. It is even quieter then I expected. It also runs very smoothly. I'm on top of the world. I will be doing a cnc lathe over the next year so I needed another vfd anyways. Now that I know the router work I can take it to work and grind the taper to get rid of the runnout. It has 1.5 thou of runout inside the taper so you can imagine how bad it gets with a collet on it. Luckily I work in a well equipped machining and grinding shop. I feel bad for people who have no way to fix things like this. If I didn't know I could fix any runout issues I wouldn't have bought one so no complaints. Again thanks to everyone and I will report back on if I can get the Chinese vfd going.

    I did not get a chance to try the vfd today but will try to get to it tomorrow. I did go by work and grind the spindle taper. I didn't want to take the spindle apart so I came up with a way to grind it while still assembled. I took some pics of how I set it up. I will post them when I post again after checking the vfd again. The results were good. I checked the runout when I started at .002" and after it was .0002" not perfect but I can live with it.
