Mach Control of Huanyang VFD and Spindle through Gecko 540

Hi I am a relative newcomer to the world of CNC Mills and am in the process of building my first machine. I have searched high and low and have seen a few other posts with this problems and have tried their solutions all to no avail. I have everything running with the exception of full spindle control. I have a Huanyang 2.2KW spindle with the Gecko 540 running to Mach3. I have set up a relay to short the FOR and COM circuit to start and stop the spindle and that works perfectly, however the speed control is not functioning. I have taken the 10v, Vi, and ACM pins and run them to the 7, 8 and 9 pins on the Gecko respectively. My Mach setup is shown in the photos attached. Sorry for the lack of cable color, i was running low XD.
I have set the Pd001 and Pd002 each to a value of 1 as well. With this setup the spindle will turn on but will only go full speed or no speed, indicating none or all signal going to the Vi pin. I have also set the Pd070 value to 0 indicating a 0-10v range and Pd073 to 400.00 for the full range. I have also tried ranging the output PWM frequency from 0-400 in the spindle options in Mach3. I am at a loss at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

On the ports and pins page, you have the spindle step pin set to 0, and the port to 14. Try setting the step pin to 14, and the port to 1.

Then you need to measure the voltage coming from the gecko to see if you're getting a range from 0-10V at different rpm. You should be seeing 5V at 12,000 rpm.

Also, it looks like you're using a VERY old version of Mach3, as I don't recall when the spindle setup page looked like that.

...Or do it all through the serial port via the Modbus plug-in.
