    help with power supply selection

    hi i have 4 nema 23 8.6v 18mh 8.6 ohm/phase 1amp/phase 4 phase unipolar 6 wire

i will buy a 48vdc power supply but how many amp? i will conect the 4 steppers to the power supply

and another quest. cos the 18mh the motors can handle up to 135 volts... this mean full performance? so if i put a 48vdc i will get the full torque (280 ozin bipolarmode) or the half of the torque?

    tnks for you time

With 1 amp/phase motors, a 7.3A rated power supply is more than enough for your motors.
