We specialise in the design & manufacture of orthopaedic instruments and supporting OEMs in the aerospace, electronics, microwave, laser, defence and sub-sea markets with an internationally competitive precision machining service for components to AS9100, ISO13485 and ISO9001.


The successful candidate will be required to:
• Develop Commercial opportunities within the sub-contract precision engineering sector
•Build mutually beneficial long term relationships with customers that yield premium prices for our goods and services
• To estimate the cost of jobs and create quotations which will be profitable, yet ensure quality for the customer.
• Have the desire to grow personally and develop a long term career with Claro.
• Liaise with a diverse number of industries to present Claro's services.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a strong CNC background, having had experience of operating CNC machinery
• Have the ability to estimate the cost of jobs and quote for sub contract work - especially CNC Milling and Turning, fabrication, fitting and assembly
• The technical ability to determine how to machine complex work using CNC machinery and to create competitive quotations using the Company's established systems
• Have strong interpersonal and representational skills
-be able to establish customers actual requirements by asking searching questions and then offering practical solutions
• Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad as required
• Must be willing to commute to, or relocate within a suitable distance of Knaresborough
