I was just gifted a laser 4’ x 8’ with Corel draw 10, which I gave no idea how to use.... but I’d like to convert my CNC files to work on this laser.

I assume the Z is not used.
So what? Right? What do I do.
Also, I’m imagining the tool size may have a dimensional issue?
Not sure.
I ran one file on the computer that was simply an NC file... it worked.
It had a lot of BMP files, none of which worked.
Can you help a brother?

Convert the files to DXF and try to import into your laser software. Depending on the laser you may have to convert the files to metric also.

I dont have a laser but I have a friend that does & I believe on jobs he has a print driver for his laser & he converts the bmp to black & white he can print - "etch" bmp file the driver has a power setting then to cut through he uses vector file and makes the color red which has a different power setting.
