I have a 96 hl-2 with programmable tail stock. I can't find any literature on the 96. Only the 98 with hydraulic tail. Mine sounds as is fed on a ball screw. Anyway to the point. I'm a mill guy that got tired of paying people to turn parts for to high of cost so I purchased the 96 hl-2. I have settings 105 106 and 107 set. Although 107 I'm uncertain of. For me to have the tip of the center in into the part I often get an overload alarm with just .005-.01 into it. Barely making the center turn. Truthfully probably needs more pressure to get the desired finish. Are the 96 models setup any different than the 98? I'm also not sure where to put the m21/m22 in the program. I'm going to attach my program below. Any help from experienced lathe guys is welcome. With the current program the turret moves into the start position and sits there. Spindle turning and nothing else happens. No alarms that I'm aware of. Please help!!

Also my absolute position on the tail is -15.6655 but I can't put a decimal it just makes it -15?????

The tailstock is on a ballscrew as you stated.
