    Stock Setup

I have a hard time setting my 1st cut the way I want. In MCx5 I draw a square with an inscribed circle and I want my cut to start at the top right of the table but when I get the gcode, the cut starts at the bottom left of the table.

Do you set the origin at the Stock Setup page which is along with the Tool settings? In there we have the "Stock Origin" where you can put the x,y,z values. Is this the place?

One part of the secret is to go to the Toolpath Editor... right click to get the fly-out menu, it's on the bottom. You can set the start of the cut anywhere you want.
... Why it's starting at the bottom....?? Your Stock Origin is only to show you where the stock is and doesn't control the tool.

Got the Toolpath Editor, very neat, thanks

Last night I was working on my Laptop in my office and was simulating the cut on Mach3. Could not figure out why Mach3 was doing that. Finally I deleted the gcode file and created a new one with a different name and now all is fine.

I don’t know how / why the file got corrupted
