Hi, i need some help please. i have a mazak vmc it's a VQC-15/40 with mazatrol M-32 control. it was working fine but a few days ago it started to show this alarm message "56 Y EMERGENCY STOP (EXTERNAL)". I reset the machine worked 30 min and the alarm lit up again. lately i have this alarm message since i turn it on. I took some pictures included in the pdf file i attached. Any suggestions are welcome. sorry for my bad english i hope i was able to comunicate my problem and someone can help. Thanks. :cheers:

Hi,

you have the problem und the Y-axias servo. This show you 55 : overload.
The one on the left side show you : 56 ( it means I have no problem )
The one on the reight side: E7 emergency stop.
Also E7 on the spindlecontroller FR-SF ....

You must repair the MR-S1- ???? for the Y-axis.

Hi, Thanks for your help. Do you have an idea where to look for the problem? or how to test the driver? i cleaned the conectors of the servos and the problem was diminished but not solved. that makes me think that maybe there is a problem in the wiring from the driver to the servo. do this have some logic to you?

You get the alarm immediate when you turn on the machine, or later when you drive y-axis.

Hi, i get the alarm immediately when i turn on the machine. that alarm message is the first thing i see when the control screen is on. somebody told me to unplugged the UVW wires in the drive, turn on the machine and see if the alarm message was gone, so i did it. but the alarm did not turn off.
i appreciate your help. take care.

Hi, just updating. i swap the drivers boards of Y and Z and the alarm change from Y as it was from the start to Z. i think that proof the problem is the driver board. do you thing the board can be repaired or should be replaced?

Hi. No i didn't solve the problem the machine is still not working. two electronics technicians checked the driver board but didn't find the problem. this is really frustrating any suggestions would be appreciated.
