Hello, I have a fanuc tapecut type P with fanuc 6m control. The last week, i have an error on the machine: 434 U servo alarm.
I have swith the two cards (u v) but the alarm is the same.
What can i do? and is it possible to run without uv axis? how to desactivate the uv axis in the parameters?

Did you fix your servo error?

I had the same the other day on my Fanuc Tapecut Model M - also a 6M control. Turned out to be the reference microswitch - accessed by removing the side panel from the 'biscuit box' that the U & V servo motors and slides are housed in. Roller on the microswitch arm runs up and onto a shaped nylon ramp. My roller arm had stuck in the operated position.
