I'm new to this group and I appreciate any feedback on this problem. As my title states I have a 96 fadal 4020 with a 1400-4 cpu. The machine moves at a very slow rate when machining. In the past when this occurred we had service out who dumped the memory and reset it.(?) They mentioned the CPU maybe going bad. Is this possible? Has anyone else had this type of issue? Any other items to check for this type of issue? I have also been told that changing the CPU will also require changing/upgrading cards.(?) Is this expensive? Where to find parts? Hard to do?
