Finally talked my employer in to selling me (for a VERY good price) their Tormach.

It's a series 2 1100, with stand, two tool arms, TTS setup, vise, sprutcam, PC etc.

For some reason they want to keep the duality lathe which is fine by me as it seems very low quality. Unfortunately a previous employee walked away with the 4th axis rotary and a few of the setup tools - height gauge ( I have a nice height gauge and surface plate anyway so no bigee) and touch tool. The tailstock and 4 jaw were left behind so I do have those and strangely enough the interface kit for the 4th axis. Not sure why he would "acquire" the rotary and not the interface kit. Probably couldn't find it.

I have a Sharp HMV manual lathe and a 1958 Sheldon VS lathe and have been a hobbyist for about 15 years. I know little about CNC machining though, so am looking forward to an education on this forum.

Thanks in advance - must say I'm pretty excited about it!
