Hi,

I have body and neck hand drawings & all specs/measurements for:

2 guitar bodies - both chambered with separate arched tops
2 guitar necks

1 bass body- chambered with separate arched top
1 bass neck

I am looking for someone to make these "turnkey" programs ( not the jigs & fixtures, just the parts mentioned above) so that I can run them on my CNC.

I would really like to find someone who has guitar/bass experience only, preferably with good feedback from this forum, any help would be appreciated.

It would also be great to talk over the phone in detail after we connect.

what type of cnc machine do you have? if its hobby grade (mdf, roller bearings, etc) I wouldn't write a program for it unless the machine was in the same room. usually you go through several iterations to work out what the machine will handle correctly. speeds, depth of cut, finish passes, etc.

if its a higher end machine, then tests on my machine will translate to yours more reliably.

It is not my machine but it is a large 5 x 10 ? Laguna cnc with a tool changer etc so a higher end machine.

ahh, that's plausible then. ive got an Xzero, so the laguna should be at least as good as far as speed and rigidity.

This will get you the help you need, first you will need the drawings & then the Cam files (G-code program) to cut the parts,just email him with what you need, he has a web site but it is being redone, so is down right now
