Might be a good idea to give at least a rough idea of your location.

I am in Texas, USA. I could travel or make shipping arrangements for most of the US.

You might want to call Bob Yellin over at Z-Bot in Austin. They might have a few leads for used Tormach's in Texas.

If you find one that's one or two years old, you won't save that much money. You may as well just buy a new one. Mine will be three years old in July, and it definitely isn't for sale.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.

Well, I just send off a pile of money and should have my new 1100 in about a week...very excited to get to work.

I wound up getting a new one because I have the capabilities to make the stand myself, so even though there were some well priced used ones, I can still do about as well to buy a new one.

I bought the Powered Drawbar in anticipation of getting the ATC later this year.

    Thanks for all your input.

My machine has been running a little over 2 months and all I can say is wow .
    You wont be sorry!
Take your time, read the manuals and white papers.
Power draw bar makes the machine a joy to use!
Sprut and decent cad software will round out the machine and make it down right fun to use.
I still need to add digital calipers, micrometers and x,y,z indicator for ease of use and speed up operations.
In real life the normal edge finders, height gauges and measuring tools work fine for me.
I like easy to read "big numbers". and I want 1 tool for xyz settings.

Forgot to add a workstation class computer is also handy with Uber high end gfx, memory and solid state drives. Will make the design work cad and the tool work cam much more enjoyable. I can see lower end computers carping when trying to run these programs and then users freak thinking the software is no good when part of the problem is their computer from best buy was made for surfing web no model cam paths.

    Enjoy your machine
