New low cost CNC Controller, USB, Windows XP based!

Hereby I want to anounce my new CNC controller product USBCNC.

    - It works with USB in stead of parallel port.
    - 4 Axes.
    - Probing.
    - Hardware is DIY.
    - G-Code is EMC/MACH compatible.

Just have a look and judge yourself: www.usbcnc.com

    With kind regards,
    Bert

    Very interesting!

A suggestion - offering a USB Bob would definately bolster the appeal of your core product.

    Thanks Scott.

Yes I am working on a complete DIY kit.
I am also building a new CNC machine, so I am quite busy.
The kit will become available in a couple of months.
In the mean time i recommend using a kit from www.voti.nl,
that is also a good solution and very cheap.

    Regards,
    Bert

    For your info:
Complete hardware solutions, build and tested will be available
for a low price in August if everything goes as expected.
The project files (Eagle and PDF) of the 2 solutions that I will offer are also on the download page of www.usbcnc.com. You can also build them yourself and order the programmed PIC only.

    Regards,
    Bert ([email protected])

I can't download the .pdf "CNC Manual (english)". Acrobat gives me an error. Any ideas, why?

so, if i understand, this is similar to the desktopcnc usb device?

its pretty sweet that someone finally tackled that... it is a shame mach(x) has a $400 hardware interface that does loads of cool stuff most people are not immediately interested in, instead of a simple usb device like this..

all the same, has anyone here tried it?

Try Foxit Reader. Way faster than Acrobat reader, and uses hardly any disk space. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
