its very simple. plug in a SCSI controller that is compatible with your type of HDD (SCSI 1/SCSI 2/ SCSI Ultra, SCSI Wide etc etc), plug in the HDD, power on the PC. Once booted install the SCSI drivers. Reboot. Then image the drive using Ghost or some other software.

    Dear Sir

V could locate a vendor who has got SCSI controller and he told he would be able to get a new SCS 1 - HDD of capacity 45MB (upto 250MB)

He wud connect exisiting harddisk (which uses FlexOS operating system which is similar to DOS FLEXOS/ MMC software) with his SCSI controller and take image, connect new SCS 1 - HDD of capacity 45MB (upto 250MB) and burn the image of exisiting harddisk

Kindly confirm with this whether we will be able to connect new harddisk on to the machine and start using it straighaway or we need to load Flex OS and Machine software

    Best Regards,

    M. Rishikesh

if you image the drive exactly on to an identical HDD you just plug it into the CNC machine and it works as before.
To image it you only need a common PC with a common SCSI controller and some imaging software. The task is very simple.
