Solid Model to print. How to make section view.

Hey guys new here. This is my first post.
Im fairly new to solidworks. Im doing okay on it theres just a few things that give me problems.. One of them being section views on prints.

My question is about section views on a print. I only need 1 side section view on the print. Its a simple part so any more than that would be unnecessary. How can I make a section view for the print without the original model on print.

example: I import solid model to print. I put the model on print, make section view. The end result is 2 profiles of part 1 being section 1 not. I just want the section view but it wont let me delete the section view without deleting both. any help???

    thanks

You need the view in order to create the section view. But you can "hide" the view, Right mouse click the main view on the "sheet" or the view in the "feature tree" and pick "hide".

Ive tried that. When I try to hide just the non-section view it hides both..

In SWX 2013 when you pick "hide" it asks "Do you want to hide dependent view also" I picked, no. It leaves the section view and hides the original parent view only.

Right click the section view and go to "alignment" , "break alignment"
Place view where you want it.
I would try the Drawing tutorials also.
