I am going to be doing some surfacing work soon that will be drip fed to my Mori MV-40B with fanuc 10m. It has some buffer but small segments starve it and cause stuttering. I am using a 8' serial cable and have reliable connection but the speed isnt' great. What are the best settings?

Right now i have

9600 baud speed
1 stop bit
parity even
7 databits

and I am using a 50 ms delay before sending each block. '

I have been doing some research and have seen some people recommend using a lower baud rate and and reducing the block delay. I haven't tried lowering the block delay @ 9600. Anyone have any clue what the smallest you can get with out buffer overflow errors?

thanks!
