    FADAL DATC transmission leaking

    My 80/30 FADAL DATC transmission is leaking and I can't find a break down on how to take it apart to just replace a seal?
    FADAL wants me to just buy a new trans for it, but it still works fine other than the leak.

    Has anyone had this issue before?
    Does anyone have a breakdown on how to get in to repair it?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I have several machines with those but never had one apart. I know Fadal did not manufacture their side arm tool changer, it is imported from GIFU Taiwan Gifu Enterprise Co., Ltd. I have seen this exact same tool changer on other machine tools, maybe a search will find a PDF or parts breakdown.

    Or contact GIFU, I have found many overseas manufactures respond promptly to e-mails.

    That explains why they don't sell parts for it just replacements.
