We're looking for a used (or inexpensive new) carver for prosthetics.

• Needs to be able to carve foam and plaster.
• Needs to have a dust collection system.

Yes, on Ebay there's this one for $10k: Seattle Carver SCC810 Prosthetic Shapemaker Aercology Dust Arrester DM 500 | eBay
There's a plate on one of the photos that says it's from 1992. Not sure how to evaluate it. The price is certainly right, but if the motor goes out, or other parts are needed, it becomes a bit of a project. I was hoping for something sold by someone who's used it recently and can give me more info on it, as opposed to an auction house.

You mention Fabtech Systems. They're a manufacturing house, aren't they? They don't sell equipment as far as I know.
