    Tormach 1100 Drawbar Wrench Size

    Howdy,
Do y'all know what sized wrench the Tormach 1100 drawbar takes? I need to checkout the pawn shops for a ratcheting box wrench for it. They usually run about $2 at a good pawn shop

    Thank you,

    kr

Not sure what size it is, but mine has a square head. i just use a metric adjustable spanner for it.

    Metric adjustable?

Pretty sure my adjustables don't skip over the metric sizes....

12-point sockets/box wrenches work fine on square heads...

Excellent. By my calculations, 13mm square turns out to be 15.9mm hex wrench, so 16mm (12 pt). It is also exactly 5/8" hex wrench (12 pt).

The ratcheting box end wrench is the neatest thing since ratchet wrenches. I will stop by the pawn shop tomorrow and pick up a 5/8" ratcheting end wrench for a couple bucks.

    Thank you very much,

I need to make a 13 mm socket, brass hammer combo for my drawbar.
Add that to my 'to-do' list.
