What are shops using for compressed air dryers? I have installed a new 15hp Curtis Masterline & a regenerative air dryer. The compressor salesman recommended this over a refrigerated dryer. This is my 1st experience with any air dryer. The dryer I have uses/wastes WAY more air than 3 Haas cnc's use. The salesman said that refrigerated dryers are problematic and do not last. Just wanting opinions.

I have a refrigerated type that I got from Harbor Freight. It had excellent reviews and I have had no issues with it now for almost two years. With their typical 20% discount coupons it only cost $362.00. A life and machine saver!

Somebody is feeding you a line...I have two refrigerated dryers that have never been problematic in over ten years of use.
