Help. Drawing a line at an angle?

I'm new to CamBam, and trying out the trial software.
I drew a circle, then a line tangent to it, but I couldn't figure out how to set the tangent line to a specific angle.
How do you set a line to an angle?
Imagine the number 6, and the tangent line goes up to the right at a 20 degree angle.
    How do I set that?

I've been using CAMBAM for about 6 months now. I find it a great CAM program for my needs. But for all my CAD, I use a CAD program (TurboCAD). There may be a way of doing what you want in CAMBAM. Try posting a question on the CAMBAM forum.

I don't use CamBam, but here's how I'd do it in a CAD program.

    1) Draw a line from the center of the circle at the 20° angle.
    2) Offset the line the radius of the circle. The offset line will be tangent and at the required angle.

You can also do a transform rotate using the right click menu.

I'd also recommend using CAD software rather than trying to do CAD functions in CAM BAM. Draw your line from quadrant of circle, up at the distance you need. Rotate line around center point of circle to angle needed.

    Draw More>Tangent
click on the part of the circle that intersects the x axis
shift click draws a line vertical
    then select the line
    right click transform > rotate
click on the center of the circle
drag out along the x axis then click on the axis to end the line
then rotate the reference line to the desired angle.
