    G0704 ballscrew mount plans

    Anyone have easy plans to make the inside mount for ball screws and end plates for all AXIS for a G0704 mill? or anyone wanna make me the X and Y and Z mounts that go inside the table?

    Have you checked g0704.com yet? He offers plans and links to all kinds of g0704 kits.

    Read enough and you will find all of the info you need. Or just pay the small fee and have a compilation in front of you.

    I was thinking of using them myself but went with hoss' plans. Many more conversions and he is very willing to answer questions.

    My plans are in the link below, post #24. My conversion uses Thompson ballscrews from Mcmaster Carr. I did some things a bit different in regard to the motor couplings but it works very well. I also had a CNC's round column mill that I used to make the parts. Use at your own risk.
