Have you checked g0704.com yet? He offers plans and links to all kinds of g0704 kits.

kinda looking for some free plans or a diagram .
Read enough and you will find all of the info you need. Or just pay the small fee and have a compilation in front of you.

I was thinking of using them myself but went with hoss' plans. Many more conversions and he is very willing to answer questions.

My plans are in the link below, post #24. My conversion uses Thompson ballscrews from Mcmaster Carr. I did some things a bit different in regard to the motor couplings but it works very well. I also had a CNC's round column mill that I used to make the parts. Use at your own risk.
