Holding square stock in a pusher collet

I have a Ganesh cyclone lathe with a patriot bar feeder. I am turning 3/4 square stock. Problem I'm having is keeping the stock held in the pusher collet. I'm currently holding on the "points" of the square and putting a pin thru the pusher collet to hold it in. Doing this means I have to manually load each bar. I've tried turning the end round to 5/8 , using a 5/8 pusher collet. The square bar eventually works it way out of the pusher collet.
Anybody have any ideas to try ?

If you've prepped the bars by turning the end, and it's still coming out, then you have a problem with the barfeed not pushing during machining/collet open etc. Are you certain your barfeed is operating correctly?
