Hi,

Is there a parameter I can change to allow my control to default back to a different screen? Everytime I unchuck a part the control defaults back to the OPR/ALARM screen and I would prefer to default back to the POS screen or stay on this screen. I can switch back but again, everytime I unchuck, I have to switch back to the POS screen, just a nuisance.

check wich message makes you go to opr/alamr screen.
see msg histery on same screen (possibly first push soft key on right side)
there must be a message witch sends you to this screen but message is so short that it isn't readable at all

You might try parameter 3111 #7 NPA from zero to one but i think than the screen won't go to alarmscreen when an alarm or message occurs.

The alarm message I'm getting is "unchuck"

Might be a prox switch for unclamp not working or set incorrectly.

sounds like it.
play a bit around with it checking on any other metal and see if error stays away.
unchuck should be a error message if spindle aint running
