[Gearbreaker]

I am running Artcam and when my artwork is turned into a file this is the result. Notice the rough edges and the round reliefs that look almost like cams. What am I doing wrong?

For what its worth, I found a simple solution in that for each level (layer) I created a separate art file. Afterward I will create the toolpaths stack them as a G code batch and all should be okay. However, it would be nice to know just what was going wrong for future reference. Thank you to anyone who scratched their heads over this.
