    MF70 Micro Mill Conversion

I have completed my MF70 MicroMill conversion and am very happy with the result. I actually did two of them. The project was for a multipart Servo Magazine article that will start.in April.

Here is a vid of the first test cuts:

    Re: MF70 Micro Mill Conversion

The MF70 is a nice little machine. I converted one myself. One thing you might want to do next is extend the rather limited Y axis. Some info over on my blog if you're interested.

I'm not sure that laser cut ply is the best material to use for stepper mounts and couplers though. Now you have a CNC mill, perhaps you could make something a bit sturdier!

    Re: MF70 Micro Mill Conversion

I have made mounts for the Proxxon out of a ton of materials. Wood, plastic, aluminum. I have a second proxxon MF70 with an all aluminum conversion kit. While it works, I will be removing it to go to the laser cut wood mounts.
