    deskcnc and drivers

i am planing to upgrade my cnc machine, i want to replace the regular stepper motors for closed loop stepper motors from Automation technology inc.
my question is, can i still use the same deskcnc software and controller to drive this motors and drivers? the ones i have are gecko 201, but the new motors includes their own drivers, can i just take off the geckos and plug in the new drivers and go on? anybody can answer this please.
