Ok I'll try again , can somebody convert a vector file for me?

Wanting to try and engrave some alum. I need a vector file converted into g code , is that possible? If so,

    What program would you reccomend?

Here is my file in vector , I would like 2 sizes , one is 7/8"x 7/8" , How much detail is too much ?

    The other is 3"x3"

If this file dosen't work what will??????

I use Acme TraceArt. I do not think you can get the free version anymore. But it is not that expensive.

    Thanks tx ,
How small a cutter would I need to cut that design at 7/8"x 7/8"

Basically just wanting the outline , I think , I'm so new at this I don't know what I want.

How hard is it to start with a drawing, and end up with a finished engraving?
Their site makes it sound EASY! Don't they all

    Use an engraving tool.

Total time on task, including making screen shots, about 30 minutes.

    Attached are the steps:

I know this blog is somewhat dated nevertheless since nobody suggested the free Inkscape program I must put that on the table.
