I have a Cadet V4020 with an OSP5020 Controller that is giving a 2154 Alarm.
The screen reads:
2154 SAT Full Error 20083
I went into “Edit Mode”.
Pressed “Delete” soft key.
Typed “*.*”
Pressed “Write”
Which Deleted ALL of the saved files.
Then pressed “Condense”
then “Write”.
The problem still exsists.
Machine “FREE” Command Reads as Follows:
Total Sectors Available 40/$0028
Total Bytes 10080
Tape Store Length 25m
I do not understand what this information is telling me unfortunately.
I also checked all of the wiring and inspected MIIB:
Okuma Opus 5000II Main Board II B
E4809-045-091-E
I did not find anything obvious wrong.
My thoughts are that there are more than one memory chip on this board and some of them have become inoperable.
Can you please tell me if I am on the right track, if so, is there any way I could determine which componant(s) are bad and replace them myself as opposed to replacing the entire board.
Thanks,
Dave
