Low Importance - Whats a good machine cleaner?

Hello everyone, most of my machines where pretty old and paint chipping when i recieved them, just got in a new Okuma lathe and want to keep it looking new, whats a good cleaner to use on the outside of the machine that wont ruin the paint? any good waxes to keep it shiny? Bought a Chiron 2 years ago and from the guys using simple green, looks 10 years old already.

I heard the wet wipes work good and greased lightning from Menards .

Simple green is brutal on all finishes.
    Windex for cleaning
If you want to wax, i reccomend Turtle Wax ICE (not the old green bottle).
