Hi! I have a 180i T controller with PC functions. NC Controller is connected to PC vias optical cable HSSB and it has embeded ethernet card. I want to use Ladder III software to connect to ethernet port on NC side. I've made the setting in parameters related to ethernet card, and also in LADDER MONITOR screen. When i click connect in Ladder software, after 1 second gives "Connection failed, staus 86". From CNC i can see my PC IP with PING, i can connect Fanuc Servo Guide without a problem via same interface but not LADDER III. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?
P.S: PMC is empty, no ladder, in STOP mode.

according to the manual Ladder III is a serial com port connection only
that explains the ALM 86 you are getting
connect to serial port on your pc to NC then you should connect.

Yes, I saw this on other forums also but I do not understand why did they put this option with ethernet connection if you cannot use? Thanks anyway!!

Fanuc Ladder III is possible connect to CNC's via embedded ethernet port.
You need to change some parameter on PMC screen page.
