    HELP! C35 BOB: RJ45 to AM882 driver.

    Hi,

I need to know what wires goes where! I have a C35 bob, and I need to connect bare RJ45 wires in the AM882 at the right place. I can't find anything on that, what pin for what slot...

It's pretty much what I did. Can I get both 5v from the RJ45, or do I have to get it from an external source/from the C35 board?

    Rotule,

As long as pin 8 on the RJ45 has a constant +5 volts d.c. you may use it to power the opto's (PUL + and DIR +) on the AM882 driver.

This is a clean solution when using a C35 with the AM882 to attach a over the counter RJ45 patch cord:

I don't know if it means anything, but if I start the computer while the power is off on the controlller box, the leds on the C35 are lit, but as soon as I start up Mach3, they light off. If I power on the controller box, the leds are back on, of course...
