Eurotec 420 SLL .When we call up the c axis with a m10 the motor just hums . It looks like the break is holding it from orientating.We tried a m71 to release the break in the line before the m10, we keep getting alarm 410 excess error.Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

What about plain old "G0 C0 EOB"

The usable codes should be in the machine builder's manual, The Fanuc manual would only have the generic codes

Tried various m-codes from the programmer's hand book,to no avail .I thought it might be an encoder problem ,so traded the encoder from the main to the sub,and same problem. I then traded the drives ,and it cleared up . The drive in question is under warranty,so we are calling for a replacement this morning .

on my machine M10 clamps the c-axis, M11 releases it.

M11;
G0 C180 F1000 ;
M10;clamping is not always nessasery
