    double linear guideway carriage ?

    i've never seen it been used in such a way, so is it worth it ? double the problems, or double the stifness ?

    space is empty and beside extra cost is there another downside ?

    what you think ?

    all depends on you machine

    imo a waste ... if its not stiff enough, then go to the next size rail ....

    Some manufacturers offer extra long "guideway carriages" for added capacity.
