    New User, Basic Help needed

Ive been a Longtime Mastercam user, and Now im getting into Esprit. I have a complex 5 axis part, with a few flats and holes. I need to create very simple geometry on the solid edge to drive a contour. The pocket feature i created isnt working out well due to it being an open pocket and a floor radius. How can I create a simple curve on the floor, than offset it out to compensate for the floor radius???

    Thx,
    Kris

Also, In my class last September, I was shown how to select the entire solid, and create geometry on all edges. Im also drawing a blank on how to do that.

you should be able to translate the model to create a cross section of the pocket. I think its the same tool bar as pocket feature I think its the 3rd icon from the right going left. Just translate it up or down so the x,y plane intersects it and it will create geometry from the model. Or if you have a print just draw geometry and create a chain and do a contouring pass.
