Shenhui 150 watt laser....Blowing fuses on the machine. Need some advise please.

    Help!!!!
We just bought this laser and we ran it for a day with no problems. We went to use it near the end of the day and noticed while running the file that the laser itself was not working. Prior to this, maybe a coincidence, the breaker in our panel blew when our compressor came on. I found the fuse at the plugin point on the rear of the machine, it was blown. There are two power inlets, one for the motors and controls and the second for the laser itself. I talked via Skype to the Tech from China and confirmed that the fuse is 5 amp. That seems low for the size. Any input on this problem would be great. Thanks very much.

    115V x 5A = 575W
CO2 laser efficiency is about 12%.
For full power (150W) you need to supply 1.3-1.4kW That means 5A fuse is not strong enough.
But first you should check your machine with low laser power.
If it blows 5A fuses working with 15-20% power, there is another problem.
