Hello fellow cnc zone members!
Well, I went and accidentally over filled my lathe with coolant...... and fried the coolant pump by swamping it with coolant.
Colchester in there brilliant design, omitted to make an overflow exit hole to keep this from happening. I shall make one myself at re-assembly.

Upon removing the pump and searching for the motor info tag on the unit. This is what I found.

DOH!!

The machine is a Colchester Storm A-50. The part # in my maintenance book is part#B474-0014 That's all I could find.

Can any one inform me of what type of current and voltage this unit is supposed to have?? It is made by Grundfos of which I have a distributor near by. But they need a minimum
of info to be able to replace the motor...
Also, regarding the 1032 coolant pump over load alarm. Will it reset itself once the new pump motor is installed or must I enter a code or something to reset it?

Thank's guys

Claude
