We have a Nexus 510c with a fusion 640 control. When backing up Mazatrol programs to the computer the file extension was always .m6m. Just recently it changed to .m6p. WTF? Why did it change and how can I have if back?

It took us years to get this machine hooked up to a computer so we could back up our programs because management didn't take us seriously until the hard drive in the machine crashed. Now that we are connected to the computer we thought we were good to go the the computer started changing the extensions on us so now instead of over writing the old programs when we make revisions we get two programs with the same name but different extensions. That's just not going to work.
M6P is the extension used for saving Mazatrol as 3 digit g-code. Someone is saving the programs in 3 digit format. There is nothing wrong with your machine.
