Is there any place where i can download designs from other people.
Like if i want a gearbox i can just download the cam or nc file and start milling?

You should be able to find plenty of designs, but they are normally either jpg, pdf or whatever cad drawing format they were done in. DXF is pretty common. The reason you won't find tons of gcode files is because the "cut" file produced depends on the post configuration for a specific machine and driver software. Some are generic but best bet is to find a drawing you want, use or convert to cad/cam your software recognizes then create the gcode toolpath based on your driver, machine, cutting bit, speed etc and produce your own code for your setup. One person's code isn't very likely to cut correctly in the next person's machine.because of all these variables.
