    Letters not getting tool path

Hi guys. Just picked up MasterCAM X7 (Windows 7 Pro) and was trying to do some desk nameplates. Just letters .125 deep in aluminum. The problem is the capitols J and C (and the small i) are split in to two chains and dont toolpath correctly or at all. I set the letters to 2" high Brittanica Bold and tried a .125 bit, .0625 and finally a .030 bit. The tool path will not go around the lower part of the J to create a single toolpath.
I measured across the area and got .450 or so the width is big enough for the tool to go thru. I have tried a couple different type of toolpaths such as highspeed and contour with the same results.
I know it's something I'm missing but being new, I don't have a clue as to what to look for. What's missing?
P.S. the tool shows correctly in the left hand window.

zoom in on the letters where the chain is broken, you will find there is a break in the chain. you really have to zoom right in to see it.
    Hope this helps.

There are a lot of fonts that don't machine well. Like he said the lines are bad or not connected.

Instead of chain option use the window function its right below the chain option in the same prompt window. Pick the area where the fonts are , pick an approximate starting point and off you go.
