Un hooking bar feed gives an error

Ok we have a Ganesh 5212tm lathe running fanuc oi-tc. Connected to it is the Ganesh V-65LE bar feeder. We want to disconnect the bar feed from the machine and use a manual air bar feeder. Problem is when we unplug the bar feed from the machine we get a bar feed alarm and the machine locks us out. So anyone know what wires to disconnect or if there is a parameter we can change to get this working?

That will depend on your ladder, and wiring diagram. Each machine builder does it to their print. If you have the print for the bar feeder you can make a dummy plug to let the machine see what ever inputs it needs.

There may be a Keep Relay that tells the control there's a bar feeder attached... at least there is on the Doosan lathes I've worked on.
